There are endless amounts of technological business applications, but there are also applications outside of businesses. A lot of people use social media to communicate with others as well as other things such as GPS or a smart phone. Technology is everywhere there is no escaping it, not even at a religious establishment. My mentorship was at a church on what is called the "Media Team". We work diligently to incorporate media into our church services with projectors, slideshows, images we create and edit, film production and videos, special lighting, and even music and saounds. These implementations immensly improve the experience, however if used out of moderation it can and will be a hinderance as it is with everything including businesses.
